12-point Swarovski Crystal Earrings

I wanted to make a pair of gorgeous earrings to wear to a friend's wedding. These are larger than what I normally wear, but I was inspired by a pair of earrings I saw of another friend wear for a photo shoot (they were oval shaped instead of being round). The other aspect of the earrings are is that they have a lighter colour scheme if worn in reverse (will need to take a photo of this at some stage!) The larger of the 2 circles are the same as my 12-point pendant, the smaller circles are a 9-point "star".

This bracelet combines 2 of my greatest handmade jewellery components - Swarvoski crystals and chain maille. In this particular bracelet, I used a variety of colours of Swarvoski crystals, from various shades of pinks, greens and greys to match a dress I own.

Mix and match your colours, or just use a single colour - the Swarovski crystals will shine through its "silver cage" draped on your wrist. Best of all, have it made to fit your wrist perfectly. The bracelet comes together with a magnetic clasp, making it easier for you to put it on yourself without the need to fiddle around with tricky catches. The bracelet is approximately 8-9mm in width.

My number one fan asked me to design this set for her after I had made her a necklace featuring these little "Crystal Balls" . Each "ball" is constructed out of Swarovski Crystal Bicone beads woven together to form a 3D "ball". Nice, simple, yet still elegant!

I first made the "mocha-themed" earrings for a friend, and liked them so much that I had to make one for myself. So I took apart a pair of earrings I received as a gift, and added the "bunch" of swarovski crystals that matched the colours of the floral printed round wooden bead. Nice? :) I've since made it in a few other colours schemes.

Strange name, though with most of my pieces, there is a story behind it! I had 2 mustard pearls leftover from a jewellery order from Jeans. She couldn't think of what to do with them, but wanted to use them in something, so she asked me to surprise her. I decided to pair the peatls with goldston beads and gold wire. I'm glad she was very pleases with the end result :)

Finally, here's a "pro" shot taken by a good friend of mine who dabbles a lot in photography! I made this pearl necklace for Eunice's wedding. It took me a while to work out the pattern from a very blurred picture she found in a magazine. Then after I made it, I found that it was a bit "top-heavy", and kept flopping over itself! So I added a piece of nylon line and added enough tension to keep the necklace upright whilst the beauty bride wore it on her wedding day.

I couldn't resist buying these colourful confections - they look like little boiled lollies! I love wearing these with anything black. A friend of mine saw a similar design of this pearl necklace. Its suppose to have lots of small crystals too, but at the time, I was just starting out as a poor student, so substituted crystals with clear seed beads instead. Still looks pretty fancy to me! Yet to wear it anywhere though...!
